Lalls Take on Road Atlanta

The 2015 F2000 Championship Series season opener at Road Atlanta had its share of ups and downs for Quinlan Lall.   Lall coming into his sophomore year in the series, is fresh off a dominating performance at the series exhibition at P.B.I.R last month. He had high hopes for the weekend stating, ” we were able to be quickest in both sessions on friday; one in the wet, and one in the dry”
Saturday morning saw Lall qualify 6th in a tight group where the first 10 cars were all less than a second apart.  “We felt good about qualifying,  we knew we had more time left in the car and were in a good position to compete for a podium. When the green flag dropped I had a great start. However, few laps later we experienced an internal engine failure; but, that’s racing and we move forward and take away the positives.” Quinlan said.
The Momentum Motorsports crew got right to work, replacing the engine to ensure Lall wouldn’t miss a minute of qualifying the next morning. “I would like to thank Allegra Motorsports for the engine that they loaned us, as our spare was still being built.” Going into qualifying on Sunday morning a strategy was in place, however, a crash abruptly ended the day.
“As a team we wanted more out of the weekend but there were a lot of positives to draw on. I am looking forward to the next race at Watkins Glen, where we were strong last year and aim to build on the pace we exhibited at Road Atlanta”
